I wish Blizzard could get going with their replay (or maybe STV/GOTV-like) system. It would be able to properly track matches
and allow others to spectate large tournaments without a stream, or, alternatively, there could be a play by play system, sort of like professional sports (which is style that Contenders is going with). That way, if made properly, people who couldn't watch the stream because of technical issues or the match not being streamed would have another option to keep up with standings.

I noticed when teams with a high rating difference tied, it wouldn't change anything about their rating. Considering all the 4 map format that's been used recently, it would be cool to make rating changes with ties.

Considering the fact they barely got to scrim (or if even did at all) before MLG, it makes sense. Just look at IMT and Selfless during this week's contenders; they are all prime examples of this. Just think how amazing this team could've been if the community hadn't acted too fast.

I'm not sure why they would take such risky strat unless it worked well during scrims. So many Sombra and Orisa/Torb strats I've seen in officials have been failures. Considering the pressure and seriousness of LAN, that shouldn't happen unless your team is built for that. The last time I saw a strat like that work well consistently was with coL. torkTJO running Sombra on Offence Route 66.

Honestly, if you send a current team to represent a country, they need to be the best players. If they are, then there's no reason to not have them. It's more entertaining to have the best of each country to show off what they have rather than create some LAN mix team because people need to break apart a superpower team in one country.

Well a lot of competition was wiped out due to BO1 coinflip (why), and map advantage is still a more broken mechanic than Hog's hooks so the match would've still been a lot more even if it were like the Melees before.
