Because it is very risky in ranked to play around a player you don't know, if they're not as good as they claim to be, it's an automatic loss.

I don't like fighting against Mei to be completely honest, but she is probably the lesser evil compared to most other defensive heroes.

I think this could go either way. I'm giving a slight edge to Philly, but both teams are so good that it's hard to tell beforehand.

Eh, I guess it's fine as I personally despise Mercy, but to be perfectly honest, I would have liked a buff on other main supports rather than a nerf on Mercy. Unless something is done to improve the viability of Moira and Ana, if Mercy falls out of meta, I would expect Lùcio/Zen all over again.

Valkyrie is still broken, Moira's resource meter is a problem, and Ana has an underpowered ultimate for the current game style. I hope things will change, but for now, mercy is the most powerful main healer :/

I'm so frustrated at these matches' schedule. I can't watch live most of them. I don't think it was fair of Blizzard to place all the matches in the west coast: east coast timezone is more accessible to us European folks, and still acceptable for people from the west coast. I recognize that the timezone favors Korea more, though, which I assume has a wider audience than Europe.

Yes please, Junkrat is still stupid and needs to be addressed ASAP. The whole Mercy revamp fiasco drew the attention away, but he is still as dumb as he was after the patch he got unnecessarily buffed.

I cannot stress this enough. The only way not to go insane in ranked is to understand that it's not the "real" thing, but more like 6 individuals trying to best other 6 individuals. Improvised teams do not work well in an heavily strategic real time game like Overwatch.

The tournament is held in Lucca, location of the most popular italian comic convention during the con itself. I was there live last year. Definitely a fun experience to watch, but I got an overdose of watching overwatch due to all the owwc matches so I will probably skip on this :P

AKm was insane in these playoff matches. Teams would be dumb not to pick him up mid-season. I hope Valiants get him so he can play with his former teammates Unkoe/Soon and retain their synergy.

Nico's D.Va, while not perfect, was actually more effective than I remembered, maybe the new aggressive D.Va better suits his play style.

Even though I agree this will definitely go in favor of Fuel, I don't think the Outlaws are that far behind in terms of individual talent. They have a roster of incredibly good players. What they lack is synergy and team play, because, as you said, they are a new team.

Ideally, mercy needs to be nerfed so much that she becomes unusable for a couple of seasons, and then get buffed again. For too long she has been the dominant support in ranked, people need to learn how to play with other supports.

Yeah I think 1.75 seconds may be a little too much. At least it is more difficult to pull it off, it may require team cooperation to work, as your tanks would need to protect you while you res.

However Valkyrie is still so broken that the fact that res is less powerful doesn't hinder that much the usability of the hero.

I respectfully disagree. I understand that xQc is eccentric to say the least, but even the koreans think he is a formidable tank player. I think this was mentioned before too.

If you are basing your judgment on his performance in ranked, please don't: scrims are a totally different environment.

Loving the D.Va skin. My favourite OWL skin so far.

Theorycrafting, but it looks like to me that they're sort of trying to replace the korean players. Disappointed they didn't get AKM together with uNKOE and SoOn, he's definitely OWL capable and currently still LFT. It would have nicely complemented Immortals' roster with his hitscan prowess.
