The guy is great, but when was the last time he played on stage in a competitive match?
I guess we'll find out, if I was SFS coach (and I'm not) I'd be afraid to remove Danteh when he's popping off almost every single game.

Well that's almost 5 months ago, quite a few in esports.

Why would you put in a one-trick when Danteh is probably equally good on tracer and is also capable of playing different heroes on a high level?

#11

It’s evident you don’t know who Sinatraa is.

If he's still the same as the last time I saw him playing, an overrated US tracer player that takes unnecessary duels, has bad decision making and has "Hello'" binded to M1. Sure his aim is good, but not extraordinary compared to 10/12 of the other main tracers in the league. Hyped up and picked up at a bidding war that never should have been one.

Danteh looks more complete, can play more heroes and has already played several months with SFS. I don't expect Sinatraa to replace Danteh anytime soon.

Time for a lesson.

During the World Cup, he was forced into duels by SBB, a tracer player who notoriously takes 1v1s against other tracers in order to pressure them and shut them down, knowing that during the group stage, Sinatraa was usually a primary carry.
If you’ve watched Sinatraa, he plays an aggressive tracer that focuses on picking backline targets. His “hello” thing is simply a style choice, doesn’t hurt his play. He’s widely known for his tracking and sticking abilities, along with very strong positioning. He makes some bad decisions in ranked but that doesn’t really define him in a team setting, as he’s been known to pop off in earlier tournaments on Selfless such as Monthly Melees or PIT, which I’m presuming you haven’t watched.
Danteh has expanded his hero pool, yes, but Sinatraa has always had a strong genji, one of the best, most terrifyingly aggressive Zaryas (see USA vs. Brazil, New Zealand, Chinese Taipei), and has recently upped his hitscan play. He’s also got a strong Roadhog.

Class dismissed.

Wow! He carried as Tracer in the group stage, where the other countries are in general outclassed by the USA? It's like you are describing the charachter Tracer?

I'm definitely not talking about the USA v SK game specific, in many other games he failed to realise he shouldn't take duels he can't win. Get a random vod and you can find these situations easly.

You are right about his Zarya though, he's sick at it.

Don't fight with Fanboys, worthless.
I saw every group match in WC, no he didn't carry any game.
Even that he shut down by SBB, he was whining that he lost bcuz of harmony orb of RJH.
WHAT A JOKE, Did Rawkus sleep?
Danteh has better tracer and genji.
Maybe he's better than Jake, but other tracer main?... very doubtful.

Danteh himself said Sinatraa is a better Tracer

Danteh has been stepping up BIG this stage, sinatraa won't be that much of an upgrade on Tracer if he even is given how much things have changed already. They can still run both sinatraa and Danteh on a map like KR since Danteh hasn't looked impressive on zarya, one of sinatraa's strong heroes

While FL has improved a lot, zappis still has a long way to go to mold with the team. SF is a more complete team right now with the addition of moth and it has allowed nomy to play more aggressive which is a style that suits him better. A lot of people seem to forget that both sinatraa and danteh are insane at genji so this could be the start of a dive setup for SF. They could also run sinatraa on the zarya on KR and hollywood so saying sinatraa is going to replace danteh is probably very far from the . truth. The only thing that is gonna happen now with SF is that they will have greatly increased their depth of styles to play the game and have pretty much every dps role covered especially with the addition of architect

While I don't see it happening, I would love to see both Danteh and Sinatraa playing at the same time vs. Mayhem. I know Babybay had a great showing vs. Houston last week but Danteh has been the team's MVP for a streak of weeks now. Guy is handling the pressure of potentially being benched and also upping his trade value massively in the event Sinatraa does seize his starting role.

Danteh and Sinatraa can both play Genji so I'm sure they will find opportunities to run them both.

Between sina, babybay, danteh and now architect we probably won't see iddqd be anywhere near the starting roster. Nevix more likely after super is eligible. Poor Andre.

True, but both Tviq and Logix outperformed SFS's dps, one the reasons the match was close is 'cause SFS supports were better than Florida's

sinatraa is plenty good but don't know why anyone expected him to elevate the SFS by much. he'll still be outclassed by most OWL dps imo. has never had results against top tier players and was maybe overhyped ever since selfess' ability to spawncamp weaker NA teams

#44

Never had results against top tier players ? wadu

#45

2
Frags

are you saying he/selfless did? because no.

i should say top tier teams i guess. they never won against envyus or rogue (who were the best of the west at the time). not to mention post-dafran selfless lost almost every game. and against the very best in the world cup sinatraa's performance was far from impressive and definitely not stand-out.

basically he looked like a really insane dps against teams that were tier 2 or tier 3 on a world scale. the same kind of way rogue were regarded as much better than they were before their debut in apex.
