Some sort of Argentine team, want to see my boys Karma in OWL
Also how about a Finnish team since they're probably the biggest contributors of players to the EU scene currently 🤔

Singapore and Switzerland make a lot of sense. Both countries represent multiple backgrounds and would garner fans from different countries.

Zurich Quartz (Quartz is used in clock making for a continuous moving hand, Switzerland makes cuckoo clocks)

Zurich would be the EU dream team. Logo. https://i.gyazo.com/f10f41bfefed38823e1e89fb52cc94f8.jpg

Singapore Tigers (Singapore was one of the original "4 Asian Tigers", Asian countries who experienced fast economical growth and industrialization)

Singapore could represent the first SEA team in the league or alternatively the first eastern mixed team in the league, considering Singapore is a mixed bag of Malaysian, Indian, Thai, Chinese immigrants primarily speaking English.

I think Bangkok and Beijing would also be good places for franchises in Asia. For the world outside of North America, Europe, and Asia, I think some outside contenders for franchises could be Johannesburg and Buenos Aires. I think Beijing is far more likely to happen than Kiev. As for the other three, you could probably debate two of them get spots in place of Seattle and Copenhagen/Stockholm (one or the other), I don't really know which of those debated cities would make for the best franchise locations.

Is it wrong for me to say I don't want a franchise in China or Russia? I don't trust either of those countries to do correctly pick players and treat those players well. With the way the Dragons were constructed and the Russian government's history of corruption and cheating at traditional sports, I don't think teams in Moscow or Beijing would make the league better.

As a Singaporean I have some insights about the Singapore Tigers name.

A) Seoul Dynasty already stole the tiger motif
B) The tiger is Malaysia's thing, we use the Lion
C) The lion is also stolen by Gladiators
D) The lion seems too 'old-guard', considering our progress to be some technologically advanced country I would expect our hypothetical team to have some neo-futuristic vibe

Washington Bullets or Washington Senators (throwbacks to old teams)

Or something new like Washington Patriots or Generals

My fav one, considering we'll never have an Italian franchise is....

🐨
Bring in the koalas!!!

That said how much was the fee for admission on season 2? I mean how much should an org/investor pay? I remember reading it was steeper than for season 1, but not how much.

30-65 mill, but it’s actually a common misconception. The full buyout fee is paid over time, and the initial cost is 5 mil. The price is mostly to see if you can support your team.

I like the Stan Lee naming style of Moscow Marauders, Taipei Tyrants and Cologne Crusaders.

I was looking for something similar for Paris and I think Pompous, Presumptuous or Pretentious would fairly represent the french players I'm matched with in ranked

I found a better list, I like Paris Pistols and Paris Poets.

Paris Patriots is fitting but they may have troubles with american football

Ah, interesting. I got this all from Wikipedia and I was looking for something other than a tiger because of Seoul. I wouldn't really know what other theme would work for Singapore
