Skins you can't get

Fact that old skins come back with summer games might mean we will be able to get every skin at some point even if we missed them at original event its nice but i personaly think it would be good to have some skins that are not possible to get anymore (to be precise we have some like noire widow or origins skins), they would create buzz in matches with people asking how did he get it and it would be super good feeling when you actualy have one (or more) of them and just make skins exciting. This opinion is not based on cs go skins coz you can trade them and how good skins you have just means how much money you want to spend on them but rather on world of tanks, in wot there are tanks that were taken from shop for soime reason (it differs from one to the other) and you cant buy them anymore (most famous typ 59) and when you take one of them to battle people look at it ask you about it (and sometimes troll you)

Making more exclusive skins would make them so much more exciting now you know you prodably will be able to get every skin at some point once you grinde enaugh loot boxes and you stop carrying about them

what do you think? do you agree or not?

I think it's to give a chance for anyone who may have missed the game to have a chance at it. I don't think they'd want new players to not be able to acquire these just because they hadn't discovered the game yet.

If anything I think a good compromise would be not to run the event each year or possibly cycle the rewards so that they come back every other season or such.

I doubt they'd do anything of what either of us mentioned since it's very possible that a person may play the game on and off and mostly come back for events and a chance at skins etc.

Making the skins exclusive might be cool for those who play a lot or consistently but I don't think they want to limit their possible profits from having it be more accessible.

well it actualy is preaty profitable to make exclusive skin, lets say they release super skin (at the witch mercy level) and after 2 years they make this skin available in some "super exclusive one of a kinde" lootboxes, everyone willl buy it and more exclusive skins there are more commonly you can make one of these "exclusive" skins available

wargaming (company behinde wot) is making it and are are earning shit ton of money (yes thats a unit in si system to measure amount of money) with only one true exclusive and the rest beeing "exclusive untill we come up with good enaugh reason to sell it again"

also if no one missed to buy skins during event there would be no exclusives so thats the point

I can see that being possible, though I think Blizz is too much into the accessibility mindset that making cosmetics exclusive to bring them back at a premium later on isn't what they're looking to do.

I don't see it being a concept they'd implement until we see them take a very different direction than the one they're currently following.

I feel like they should give the old event skins or lootboxes in the pro tourneys. Just like csgo does. People would definitely want the event lootboxes to get the items they didnt get and also more viewers for pro gaming
