Wouldnt be surprised if we saw a mass exodus of academy teams soon because there must be 0 benefit hosting and paying a team who are going to play in front of maximum 3k viewers in a FINAL

The only way I can see there being any value in having an academy team is if there is sufficient financial benefit from signing these players in the hope of developing them into players who can then be sold on to an OWL team, but given the space between signing windows and the depth of the overwatch talent pool I just cant see it being a sustainable enterprise.
