Roster size cap

Due to the amount of players retiring it seems like a good idea to discuss the if the cap on roster size should be changed due to the travel element that will be introduced in season 3 as travel will no doubt but further strain on the players, in a league that already has a burn-out problem.
By increasing the cap to 16 players for example it would allow teams to share out scrim and game time betterby for example allowing teams 2 squads with the ability to have further backups/specialists or give teams the ability to rest players.

I have no idea who you are refering to as being "burned out". I assume you are talking about Effect who has been mental issues since he was 13, as he said himself. This has nothing to do with being burned out. Who else had a burn-out. Logix took a break back in S1. Was that a burn-out? Who the fuck knows. I don't see the "burn-out problem" you've been talking about and retiring the game doesn't mean you have a burn-out.

Effect, Taimou, Logix, Pine are some examples, and there are also the cases of injuries due to the rhythm being really intense, like Bischu and Birdring, not to mention the fact that the entire old Shanghai Dragons team worked 12 hours per day

But sure, there is totally and definitely no problem with the league rhythm 🙃

As for increasing the player cap, more players means more people to pay, and also more benchwarmers. 100% never happening. The amount of players in a team could be fine if they just split the hero pools correctly instead of having 3 people working on their Zarya (I'm looking at you, Houston. Seriously, I love you, but this is such a mystery to me.)

(oh, and don't make me say what I didn't: hero flexibility is important but should be correctly well thought.)

One of the issues I have with this idea is that teams aren't actively using the max number of players on their roster at the moment. Increasing it may not offer much improvement if there's no current need for it.
