OK from what i read blizzard plans to have 12 teams during 1st season, also this was said about 1st season:

The inaugural season is set to take place in Los Angeles to accommodate teams already stationed there. The regular season games are set to take place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The teams are allowed to run up to five amateur tournaments in their respective regions, such as the Online Division and Regional Contenders.

when reading articles about owl teams when creating this thread i saw a lot articles say that 1st season will have 12 teams

and i said that chips is prodably the most important player on envy but because of the way he plays its not noticable

actualy no, chips is a very supportive ana people usualy dont notice how much he does coz what he does is, heal and dont die and thats VERY important for envy but hard to notice
because of how well he keeps team alive they can play solo heal (like last week in contenders i think)

i cant follow it either :P i have no idea whats going on in the overwatch right now coz of so many upsets

why envision is playing so well is still a surprise for everyone i think

and thats the thing in sports (and esports) puting "best" 6 players in team most likely wont make them the best team in the world synergy is much more important, and because of this we many changes will have completly unexpected results for better or for worse and thats why picking best players is not realy good
instead we should focus on teams that have proven themselves and have potential to be top teams for example misfits was alweys considered to be potentialy best western team even tho they played terribly and now after few more roster changes they are best in eu

i personaly dont think you can quantifi it, different players have different playstyles and fit in different teams (for example in my opinion 2 best ana players chips and ryu have completly different playstyles but i personaly prefare chips)

envyus should easly win with every team in na and i hope we see rogue that dominated west for the whole 2017 back but again same as in eu, im not sure about any of this predictions

• rogue wins (1:3) i think rogue will fix their play but not totally, i expect not great ult economy and overextenson from them

• kungarna wins (3:1) kungarna looked good and fnrgfe looked worse then i expected it might be very close

• envyus wins (4:0) envyus players and teamplay is just too strong and even with amount of star players in faze clan i dont think they stand a chance against envy

• immortals wins (0:4) thats a little bit harder one, even with how bad rogue looked envision looked actualy very good i dont know if that was one time thing or if they keep it up, if they can then it might be close but still immortals should take it

After last weeks matches i dont know anymore but my predictions:
3:1 (123 looked realy strong byt puppiz might take map)
0:4 (i dont belive in this one but Lets go my boiz gamers)
3:1 (i hope eunited fixed their problems but i dont think theyll be back to their top form yet)
4:0 (misfits looked super strong and even with revitalized gigantti i dont think they stand a chance)

blizzard needs to approve players but their payed by organization (team) so the team should own them but from what i know they also have some contract with owl itself (right there was somehting about it)
and they will play for london ultimates that is owned by c9, you prodably know a lot of real teams but have no idea what comapny owns them so its like in normal sport but it will also mean c9 needs a lot of advertising (for c9 and for lul)

i think that with well established esports brands and classic sport teams it will create quite some interest and that should be a good headstart for owl

but getting off the jacks topic at least ill have some decent names in my list not this "los angeles v.2" with which i dont know what to do

but that argument was wrong coz in one case "jack" sold team/spot (without brand/naming) and in the 2nd case he also sold brand/name and thats the difference
other thing is that in sport most names are historical so they have not much to do with companies but thats offtopic

Blizzard and you work hard to make LUL in game items, branding, merchandise, advertisements
You're still Jack, Manchester United wants your London Slot in 5 years, you sell for 3 trillion dollars
Manchester United now owns your London team, but they cant be the LUL anymore, because you're still Jack, you still own LUL
Blizzard now has to erase all of that LUL merch, in game items, branding, logos, etc, because you sold, and make new ones for the London United and your fans are pissed they have to change all of their swag
