Is IDDQD no longer on the NRG starting roster ?

First off, and this is my personal belief, xQc said a few days ago that the new NRG roster was actually crazy good. Since the Fnatic days, I thought IDDQD was overestimated. I was actually hoping that NRG would pick Nesh up instead of him when they were rebuilding a few months ago. All this to say that I don't see NRG being scary with IDDQD on it, but again, this is my own opinion.
Then he went on a trip to Canada right after Sephy joined the team as coach.

And finally, earlier today, Kariv told xQc that they were scrimming against NRG. This would be meaningless if IDDQD wasn't streaming at the same time. Which begs the question, is he still on the team ?

What actual concrete information do you have other than him not streaming scrims, not something I know them to usually do, or you thinking he's overrated?

Right now your argument is extremely weak, at best.

We know that they are trying different players and different combinations, today may have been one of those days where he wasn't included.

In matches we have seen he's been focused down and never had much of a chance to do anything. We could just wait and see

Ok before coming in mouth blazing, please read the post.
If you had done it, you'd see that I'm not stating a fact, I'm asking a question following a few events. And I posted it in General Discussion for a reason, nowhere did I actually SAY he wasn't on the roster anymore.

Second, who said anything about streaming scrims ? IMT was scrimming against NRG, and Iddqd was streaming ranked instead of playing with his team.

And to make myself clear, if there are rules preventing discussions to be had unless official then by all means, I don't mind one of the admins taking it down. But just read what I posted before criticizing.

The structure of this particular passage makes it susceptible to interpretation but feel free to clarify it.

Of course you're allowed to post whatever it is you feel is relevant, I don't believe I ever said you couldn't and of course your free to defend your point of view from opposition. I can rephrase my inquiry if it relays the question better.

Kuroi his language was pretty clear that iddqd was streaming while apparently imt was scrimping nrg.

I'm listing 3 events that happened recently, the last one of them, which happened just a few hours ago, is quite compelling. The team's main DPS player is not in on scrims, vs IMT nonetheless, and you're gonna tell me that doesn't raise any flags ? It looks pretty clear to me.

Although you using the word argument implies that I was trying to make a point, which I, as said in my last post, am not.

But hey, interpretation right.

Read it as "IDDQD wasn't streaming at the same time", the other way could have been clear to you, of course, but it wasn't to me hence why I questioned that particular practice.

I'm all ears if you know of any additional pieces of information that could be added to him sitting out a scrim though.

IIRC nesh was competing a spot with harbleu instead of iddqd, iddqd was signed by nrg already

You're right, I got them mixed up. It was right before the Harbleu rumours blew up.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to get a fresh start after the way this year has gone, so it wouldn't be shocking if he wasn't.

Kuroi's getting mad with power since embarking on his third star. Tbh tho i thought iddqd was pretty good on old fnatic but its hard to use mcree these days and he's plain underwhelming on other heroes. Reckon NRG need far better players if they hope for any kind of contention in OWL.

If he was streaming ranked during scrims, that would lead me to believe that they are trialling. The way I read it was that NRG was scrimming and iddqd wasn't streaming to at the time, which would be normal.

EDIT: I just misread the post, and I think that they could be trialling a different player. Sorry, makes perfect sense now.

I feel like if iddqd has a team built around him and it was another meta he would definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Imagine if he could play soldier/mccree 24/7 with supports like shake and adam behind him. He could definitely be a playmaker in his own right. I'll admit there are better hitscans out there right now but none that could warrant dropping iddqd.

Even though he is on NRG right now he isn't on their OWL team until he signs the player agreement/contract. The trip to Canada more than likely was him going to visit his girlfriend. Ajax already said on stream that NRG has been trialing like 20 or so players so I wouldn't be surprised if they are trialing people in the same roles that harb and iddqd fill just in case they fit with the final roster better.

KuroiRyuu is tryharding the crap out of over.gg right now. He just got his second star a week ago and he's already at a 1/3 of his next one.
I'm here doing my best but haven't gotten my 2/3 of a star yet :(

Admirable stop him he's growing too powerful and tyrannical! I also think he's a salty Iddqd fan Kappa

Regarding NRG, if Iddqd leaves, I would love to see the DPS duo of Jake and Sinatraa. For support, Dhaka and Dante would be perfect. Not sure about tanks.

Hope seagull finds another team (please come to New York, Seagies)

Sinatraa could be a thing but LGE would have to fold for Jake to realistically be somewhat available and I haven't seen/heard any rumblings about that.

I also wonder if they'd wait until Contenders was over for player, if teams play once a week we're looking at 7-9 weeks for the whole thing ish? (Don't quote me on that, not entirely sure)

I guess it's possible but it would be a long time holding out when they could fill the spot earlier, imo.

it is well-documented that nrg is trialing a large amount of players (probably ~20+ right now)

iddqd was likely simply not playing the block while nrg tried out other players

edit: also his girlfriend lives in canada, so he might simply be visiting her

I've heard a lot of rumors going round that LGE's future isnt exactly certain so it's actually not that unrealistic.

Wouldn't be that surprising given the long run without good results. Where are those rumors from? Other the usual speculations about under performing teams given the current state of the scene.

Exactly. Which gives more credibility to what xQc said about the new roster. With Contenders this close, I don't see IMT giving away free scrim time to see who's meshing well in the team.

And I agree with Poi, although only for the first part. If one of them were to stay, I'd personally pick Harbleu. Great dude, always calm and collected, nutty Zarya, nutty Roadhog. His Dva is not up to par for sure, and he usually goes on some crazy solo Hog adventures across the map (although when these plays work, he looks Pog af), but he puts in the work.
All in all, full rebuild seems to be the best option going forward (Danteh BlessRNG).

Finally, I've searched for anything about ongoing NRG trials, and there's nothing coming up, so I don't necessarily agree with the info being well documented. I unfortunately wasn't in Ajax's stream when he talked about it.
