New Dva Changes

New Dva changes are being tested internally. They include shortening her defnese matrix uptime, being able to fire fusion cannons while using boosters, and best of all, a brand new ability (a type of missile).

This looks interesting, the defense matrix nerf bringers her in line and being able to shoot while boosting + missiles means Pharah is going to have a bad time with D.Va + Hitscan + Zen.

I'm liking the sound of these changes already. The missiles also give her more of a fighting chance against Doomfist since Matrix can't help her there.

Really excited to test this when it comes out.

They should have cut the 1 sec cooldown on defence matrix to 0.2 or 0.5 sec aswell, giving her a better flow, but im glad to finaly see a matrix nerf

did you know you can stop the movement of dva mech (in ult) with flash? I dont think i have ever seen anyone do it

Finally! DVa was a hero that was obnoxious to deal with, and now her defensive capabilities will be about equal to zarya

I'm okay with this as a primary Hitscan DPS, and flex off tank.

When playing DPS I can worry less about a D.Va pretty cancelling my ult, and when off tank I always enjoyed playing a more aggressive D.Va back before her last damage nerf so hopefully this lets me do that more

As a DVa player for a long time now, this sounds really good. It makes DVa interesting to play again, as well as making life better for dps. All around a necessary balance change for the game

Yeah, dive isn't going anywhere anytime soon. D.va - as annoying as she is - is the main source of peel for supports and with only 2 seconds of matrix Genji and Tracer get stronger.

So her new ability is a mini pharah ult?

They increased her DM's recharge rate by 25% so if my math isn't total shit she should fully recharge it in 7.5 seconds down from 10.
