Is Taimou high? What the fuck is he doing? LOL

Amen. 10/10 post.

Pretty disappointing that xQc gets such a great opportunity despite having a bad reputation and not only blows it once, but twice and will more than likely never be given such an opportunity again. So many great tank players would have killed a man to be given the chance to fill the role that DF desperately needs.

While I don't think KariV is the issue for LAV in stage 2, something just doesn't seem right about them where it used to. Houston should take this fairly easily, unless LAV changes something up, 3-1.

EQO getting the start, big statement made by Philly and hopefully a big result from the Fusion. I'm starting to really come around and understand why it is that people think so highly of him. I'm learning more and more about his style of play and hero pool every time I watch him play.

posted about 6 years ago

I think Philly will take Houston's place for top1 non-all Korean team. LiNkzr is a god but Jake's lack of a hero pool will catch up with them eventually.

Hats off to Seoul for giving the SHD these courtesy handicaps. Easy to assume they'd absolutely crush the Diya-less Dragons.

Unless Danteh has an atomic match on Tracer, this should be an easy win for DF.

posted about 6 years ago

That roster might be great if this was last year with all the Koreans still overseas competing in APEX. And aside from Danteh stepping up in a big way the last few weeks, Nevix has been their most consistent player all season. So why change his role?

posted about 6 years ago

That was the actual score between the two? Or are you just estimating?

posted about 6 years ago

Jjonak straight up embarrassed Jake's Tracer.

Match could go either way due to how well Houston plays as a unit in their anti-dive formation but LiNkzr will have to play out of his mind if they want to win. Hope to see LiNk's McCree vs. SBB's Tracer.
NYXL 3-1

Makes me sad that Rascal doesn't get that much playing time considering he left the Spitfire for more playing opportunities. But AKM/EFFECT probably is their strongest/most versatile pairing.

SHD 3-2. GL my children ...

I still don't understand why they can't play iddqd on one map. It's not like babybay has done anything special this season.

posted about 6 years ago

Hopefully this means we'll never have to see Gido on Zenyatta again.

That was a massacre...

Yeah it really was strange they chose to play KariV on hitscan over silkthread and Grim. They must really see something in him because I thought his S76 was pretty average.

Fleta vs. AKM on Widow
Bunny vs. EFFECT on Tracer
Jehong vs. chips on Ana

I can dream.

posted about 6 years ago

Lol, are you talking about a player specifically?

posted about 6 years ago

Watching every SHD match all I can do is feel bad for Roshan. Guy just gets slaughtered out there.

It's way past the point where people sleep on Boston, people know how dangerous of a team they are. Houston is peaking right now and I don't see them letting up.

Boston 3-1

I wonder if Philly will put Eqo back in considering he played extremely well in his OWL debut. Kind of a shame to see such a talented played playing behind ShadowBurn and not getting playing time on a team that could desperately use his projectile talent (like Dallas).

Philly 3-1

Kinda sad to see all the old McCree specialists either seeing no playing time at all, or role-swapping. Talking mostly about Grim, IDDQD and Taimou.

posted about 6 years ago

Fissure is probably salivating at the chance to face Taimou's tank lol

Rascal starting for Spitfire Kappa

Dude is pretty nutty but that's to be expected from someone playing Genji over Shadow

Mayhem looking like an entirely different team in this Mercy-less meta...

What an ending, lol.

What happened? :(

Why did they bench silkthread for all 4 maps ..

Adam HYPE!!

Hoping Saya and aWesomeGuy get to debut in this match. FLA is gonna need all the help they can get and sitting CWoosH or flexing him onto Genji would definitely make them suck less.

posted about 6 years ago

I wonder if Seoul learned anything from Stage 1. I honestly feel like they got too comfortable/over confident and got a little too "experiment" happy with Gido on support, sitting certain core players against weaker opponents. I'm fairly sure had they just played their strongest hand the entire season there is no way Houston would have taken 3rd place from them.

Being the only Korean team not making the playoffs had to hurt the ego a bit there and hopefully this time around they don't fuck around and just win as many maps/matches as possible. SD 3-1

Joke and clocknotwork got a chuckle out of me. I'll spare you the downvote on this one.

That passive wallhack on enemies sub 100% is gonna make a lot of Widowmaker mains pretty salty.

posted about 6 years ago

Sayaplayer is poggers AF. I have little doubt him and aWesomeGuy will make an immediate impact.

posted about 6 years ago

Effect/Rascal/AKM is looking like a dangerous DPS trio with the Bird and Taimou moving to a more defined OT role. Looking really good since I feel like a lot of people have slept on Rascal due to how little he has played for London.

posted about 6 years ago

Really nice to see Sabastian get an interview, hardly ever see or hear from him or the other softer spoken support/tank players on DF. But it was what I expected, a humble and honest perspective on the state of the team and the game. It's nice his parents were in NA to see DF finish the season strong vs. SHD and LAG, hopefully those wins boosted their confidence moving forward.

Moving into stage 2 DF has a lot of things going for them:

  • SHD and LAG are their first two matches
  • Mercy meta will finally be over
  • Tank meta will be more viable
  • AKM

What an incredible series. Linkzr was absolutely lights out on hitscan all match long.

posted about 6 years ago

There is someone with a sign in the crowd that says "Play Symmetra You Cowards" so it was Muma's way of giving them a little fan service

posted about 6 years ago

Despite the god that Linkzr is, I think BU has the slight advantage DPS wise and that will be the deciding factor.
