it got announced few hours ago here: https://twitter.com/OverwatchBoston/status/900090594487357445

yes it was known kraft group has boston but not that ex pro, Chris Loranger got hired as "president of gaming" (its a funny name :P ). Its interesting coz according to this statemant he basicly can pick players on his own.

Really happy for HUK, he did an amazing job in his time with Toronto Esports in helping them qualify for Contenders S0, I have no doubt he'll be able to do great things for the Boston OWL squad.

This was reported previously (not his title but the general position) but it's interesting they'd give so much power to HuK in this instance. Hopefully he doesn't fuck their team up (which is very possible even for those with good knowledge) and listens to other people who have followed the scene in perhaps more detail, since his talk on OverSight seemed to show a more "behind-the-scenes" focus for him rather than tracking talent.

How much power he has is interesting
but there are actualy not that many top tier free agents in na considering that nrg also needs a roster so its gona be interesting to see what roster well see from boston

I'm thinking they could also get players/squads that are already signed given hoe much money they have so as far as I understand it, any non OWL team/players are fair game.

The LWB announcement is a really interesting one, wondering if they keep the squad as-is or adding some NA/EU players to the mix despite possible communication barriers.

when creating my new thread (go check it out, shameless advertisement :P ) i noticed that there were rumours of c9 looking for team in korea and lw blue has some owl comitments (and it would make sense for them to pull out of apex if they need to move to london)
