How would I go about practicing Genji ultimates? I have over 200 hours on him and still regularly screw them up.

Know where ur targets are at all time especially healers.Try to save dash for lucio and mercy if they decide to run and besides if you get a trans or beat out of the enemy team when you blade then it's already a successful blade

dont use them impulsive when your going in but try to plan them and prioritize targets in right order of characters that have to most chance of countering it. and try to bait out zen ult first if you think he has it.

and ofcourse you dont have to get a 4k all the time, sometimes securing 1 or 2 kills is enough. if you cant get any more kills or a worthy trade getting out alive is better then going for a 1% chance kill.

Okay thanks, because I oftentimes lose track of enemy positioning when I dash up, ult and then dash back down, it confuses me a little and it's hard to keep track of where everyone is.

some genjis like to dash up to see the positioning but when i do it i loose track of enemies and it gives them time to react. i always like to dashtrough enemies pop ult behind them get the first kill and work from there, works for me most of the time

If you don't dash as high, you can save time by unsheathing the sword while you're falling and save the dash for potentially intsakilling them with it by animation canceling, this is especially during nanoblade. I like to practice it on the part of the practice range with the moving bots. If you find supports grouped up, you may not even need to dash up, because you don't need to select a target. Dashing up does allow Anas to nano you more easily, as long as you warn them. (Warning them depends on the rank you're at. At the lower ranks, telling them exactly what you're gonna do is important. At higher ranks most Anas only need a "let's nanoblade")

Genji ult hitbox is very buggy, making hits more likely if you swing above enemies heads or jump and look down at them. You can also improve the hitbox by moving your aim in the direction that the blade is swinging. This is why people like ShaDowBurn's aim looks very shaky.

Remember, killing both supports is an easy way to win fights. If you kill both supports, then you can try to kill dps or low health tanks

Dont try S3 meta (dash high and get nanoboost men) , dont waste your second dash its very critical.
