Somebody on reddit made a spec UI mockup and wondering what your guys' thoughts are.

That looks SO horrible. Dual cams are iffy at the best of times, even when PGL tries to implement them in their CS casts, and this looks awful.

that is actually visually offensive; enabling the wallhack outlines to be always visible in spec would be a much better alternative to a picture in picture, and as for the rest of what he has going on there it just has way too much useless geometry and takes up too much screen real estate - less is more

theres just so much shit visual cluttering without a spec ui that i believe it needs a overhaul before having spec ui imo, just here to see what we can come up with?

The camera in the bottom right is hideous, sure, but the top part isn't that bad. Heroes of the storm has a similar in game UI to that shows all 10 at the top, with grayed pictures and timers for dead ones. If the pictures grayed out in this guy's UI, he could remove the dumb "Killfeed" on the left.

These are all things that I think should just be part of the UI though, and not just in a spectator POV, so idk. They need to just overhaul the UI, lower weapon size, yada yada

yeah I agree envy, but I think it still needs a killfeed for spectating. Something less graphical than the one here, smaller and just words.
