Bug with locale and time setting?

I changed my locale to asia/shanghai but the match ticker still shows times in CST.

I used a vpn based in the USA at first but deactivated it since so I don't know if it's related. I tried to log out / log in

is cst central standard time or china standard time

Oh CST doesn't stand for Central Standard Time but China Standard Time, everything is fine, moving on!
