So now that we have seen the first few trades of OWL, does this mean that the OWL is taking the same approach that Football has where they don't trade players, they buy them?

I don't know what are the terms for players transfers from a team to another. Like for how much did Gladiators buy Fissure from Spitfire? We don't know the terms of it so I don't know if we can compare it to anything given the lack of transparency we are being given for now.

In football when a trade is happening the amount of money is being revealed to make a huge buzz around the transfer, while here we have nothing.

I think trades are still a thing that can happen in OWL, we just haven't seen one yet.

Im not to sure if it's more of a transfer (in like the premier league kind of sense) where they're buying out contracts, or if it follows a more North American way of trading players for other players and benefits. Since there was no draft, I'd assume it matches more of the of the former rather than the latter.

Football, in this case= Soccer for us Americans

Also can we make football the official word instead of soccer.
American football will only refer to what americans just call Football

Basically, for us Americans
Football=Soccer
American Football= Football

I disagree, until NFL ratings drop to nothing soccer will always be soccer...

Ironically with exception of 4 people its illegal to kick the ball I believe
