This is another match I've looking very forward to. Not having seen either revised teams play yet I feel like these guys are probably the closest in apparent strength and could very well be battling for the 3rd and 4th playoff spots.

the match is still a ways off so we'll have plenty of time to see how each fair before they get here but I hope this turns out to be a hype/slug fest of a match.

Edit 1 : After week 1 GiG is clearly ahead but with some recent roster additions we'll see if C9 if back in form in time for this one.

Edit 2: After even MORE roster changes from C9 GiG looks to be the heavy favorite to win this one, will depend on what squad C9 will field on the day of.

Don't know who will be in the starting line up for C9EU but I believe in Jiri "FINLAND'S GIFT TO ESPORTS" Masalin.

It all depends on the C9 roster, and how good LinkZr and Davin play. Regardless though, it's a fairly even match, but I'm going to give it to Cloud 9 with a very close 3-2 victory over Gigantti.

I have to disagree, right now C9 don't seem to have the players to win the man to man match up against Giganti. IMO Linkrz > Nevix and Davin > MikeyA, but also Fraggi > Mowzassa.

I think Gigantti win 3-1, If C9 manage to get a map off of them.

I'd be very interested in knowing who you think can pull through for C9 and help them take it over Gigantti.

Only match up I agree with here is Davin-MikeyA (even though I'm still stunned by his performance in OWWC). I mean they call him Big Dick Davin.
On monkey, neither Fragi nor Mowzassa have a reputation on him. Also never believed Fragi to be the sickest Rein in the game as some depict him to be, but that's just me.
Nevix has the upper hand on Linkzr for me, wider hero pool at a really high level. Closest I can see them both is on Genji, but Nevix is just sick.

Don't know much about BigG00se, but C9 has Neptuno on Lucio. Greyy and Shaz are both very good at their role. Finally, SPACE takes down Zappis hands down.

Gigantti might very well take this series, but I don't think man to man match ups will be why. They have more time together and actually showed great teamwork + individual performance from Davin, and to a lesser degree, Linkzr.
C9 obviously has more work to do, figuring out their core roster etc. but I'm gonna give it to them with a 3-2 thriller of a series.

I'm looking at you from across the room with my smug French Canadian face.

Jokes aside, I think Fragi is an amazing Rein one of the best in EU, if not all of the west. I also believe that while Shaz and Bigoose aren't as known as Grey and Neptuno they've been performing at a high enough level to enable their tanks and DPS to thrive.

As for the man to man match ups it was as you said, too close to really be a huge factor but I do still think that Gigantti had the advantage in overall skill, on top of better team play. I also want to highlight Linkzr. I feel like he doesn't get enough credit from you for the amount of clutch moments he's able to turn around. He's a driving force in a lot of the wins the were able to get imo.

In my opinion only the first map was realistically close here with C9 not being able to complete any of the other maps so I can't say it was super tight but still a very entertaining match overall.

Edit: added clarification, cause English is hard ok.

I didn't give him credit nor did I take any. He's playing solid, but as I said above, Davin is the play maker to me, literally carried so many fights this game.

This will probably decide who gets the 4th spot in the playoffs.

Honestly I just have hope in C9 dude. Mikey and Nevix are just pure nutty frangées (if they're on the roster). But idk, we'll find out. If C9 wins then I'll take one of ur stars away and give it to myself PogChamp

I didnt expect C9 to do well when they lost sinatraa to NRG (Money talks boys) and subbed Mikeya. Not shitting on Mikeya but there are very little tracers better than sinatraa. Some might say a team does not need star players and overcome it with good team play. But only star players can clutch out when it is necessary and that may decide between winning and losing.
