Just finished watching the matches from the first map. I think it's still pretty early to tell, but it is nice to see more hero diversity. Still really worried about how spectator friendly the game is- I approached the video with the mindset of wanting to get excited/see what was happening but it was honestly really confusing. I'm sure Blizzard will keep working on it, but hopefully through these beta tournaments, producers will be able to figure out a good method for casting matches.

it'll be hard to get right. spectating fps games is generally hard and it only gets harder with amount of chaos that exists in Overwatch team fights.

Yeah agreed, something interesting to see would be someone casting the same game with different styles: So once focus on plays that are happening, once on hero switches and the strategy effects, highlights etc. Also I wonder if increasing the time required to gain ultimates would help slow down the pace a little? I know in tf2 even though choke points are a bit slow and boring, they do help casters catch up and do some more strategy based analysis.
